The Sunshine Coastal School Sport Office, together with Coastal District School Sport, continues to offer a representative pathway for our students aged 10 to 12 to attend district, regional, state and national school sport trials/championships.
Queensland School Sport offers representative sporting pathways for all students born in 2013, 2012 and 2011. District Sport is the first level in representative sporting hierachy, with the next being at a regional and then finally state level.
To be eligible to attend for a trial, a student must demonstrate a very high level of ability in their chosen sport and be the top players their club team. (NB. Softball have different criteria due to limited club particpation). Each school is only entitled tosend a maximum of five (5) students to each trial.
If you and your child are confident that you meet the criteria for your chosen sport/s, follow the process below.
- Complete the Coastal District Trial Nomination spreadsheet
- Attend a School-Based Trial to identify top 5 students
- Receive trial information via email from Mr Chisholm
- Register online to attend the district trial using QR Code.
- Submit completed Permission and Medical Form at trial.
